More About Coach Lucie

Not only a vocal coach, I have been singing professionally for over 25 years, I am a songwriter, a producer, music pedagogue, band leader, an Alexander Technique teacher and most importantly, a Mom. Music is the thread of my being and has provided a platform to teach my students how to rediscover their passion and purpose in life.

I'm a Vocalist, Coach and Alexander Technique Teacher, singing is my thing!

Are you a music lover too? Music is the thread of my soul, do you feel the same way? How many times a day do you think about singing? Do you dream of becoming that one in the room with the most powerful voice? How often do you take the time to jam out to your favorite album? Well if you have not dug deep into your music collection lately, I am here to hold your hand and get you there.

I also love early morning coffee, yoga, long beach days, cooking up healthy food with my family and planning trips away from the noise and chaos of daily life.

If I have learned anything over the years in music and education, it’s that learning to sing is not just about scales and breath control, it’s so much more! Our hearts, our mental state, our emotions, even our digestive system, play a role in our performance.

As singers, we have the gift of sharing the words of a piece of music and we must nurture that gift with our whole being.

It took me many years to overcome anxiety around sharing a song and feeling totally vulnerable. With a lot of hard work and commitment, I’ve been able to overcome my nerves and feel grateful to be able to share my music and bring joy to everyone I reach.

I jumped into the profession of performance art at the young age of 15 when I was hired by BBC Radio to do voice-over for the show Ghostwriters. For as long as I can remember, the stage and the studio have always been a comfortable place for me. After completing my Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Miami, Florida I began working in theater, film and commercials. I worked with Royal Caribbean Productions, the National Tour of Cats, Live TV, BBC Radio Shows, Voiceover, Demos, TV Production, Theater, Children’s Theater, an all-original Rock Band, Lefty Lucie, Tribute Bands, Dance Shows and many others.

When I moved back to the warm sandy shores of sunny South Florida, I began recording demos collaborating with some incredible minds, learning that art of recording vocals, and started a recording studio with my genius, engineer of a husband. Together we wanted to create a recording space where music was about the music and nothing else. Soultaco was born which later became Breathe Music Studio.

I love the creative recording process more than any other piece of the music puzzle. This is where my work as a vocal coach was conceived and became an incredible outlet for me as a musician. I have been coaching students ever since in both the group and private setting. Let’s talk so I can help YOU reignite your love for performance.

Unlock your authentic voice & reclaim your joy.
